Effective immediately, Rebels LC and the Blatant Lacrosse family will have rapid access to the Sports Medicine Team at Orlin & Cohen. Players with any pain, injuries, discomfort while shooting or running, or other musculoskeletal ailments can call and obtain a FREE screening by Sports Physical Therapists or Certified Athletic Trainers. The screening will also include significant education and training in evaluating lacrosse injuries and injury prevention.
For players with the obvious need to see a sports-specific orthopedic physician, an appointment with an Orlin & Cohen physician can be scheduled within 24 hours, which can prove to be extremely valuable. Their doctors have consistently been our “go-to” providers for players, and now this incredible service is available to every Rebels LC player.
Orlin & Cohen has 14 physical therapists and 12 orthopedic offices from Queens to eastern Suffolk. We are happy to announce this incredible service for the Rebels LC Family. With Orlin & Cohen also being the current medical provider for the New York Riptide, this creates an incredible opportunity for our players to have access to a medical staff that understands the demands of playing lacrosse, and that can make all the difference in your child’s health and lacrosse career.
